The most creative week in Italy, comes back to Milan from June 7th to 12th. After a year hiatus, Milan Design Week promises to fill the city with exhibitions and creative events of art, architecture and design.
During this week, Milan will be packed with creatives that want to be the first to check the news of design. There will be many interesting events across the city, so we prepare an easy give of what no to miss.

Salone del Mobile
This year, the biggest furniture event celebrates it 60th anniversary under the theme Designing For Our Future Selves. Salone del Mobile takes place on Fiera Milano exhibition centre, with a new program of talks, an installation by Mario Cucinella and a participation of 600 young designers.
With the key message ‘Designing For Our Future Selves’ the exhibit will highlight sustainable design, best practices and a eco-friendly lifestyle. Participants were asked to take into account the quality, innovation, beauty and sustainability of its designs.
Brera Design District
Brera Design District is already a brand known as the centre of Milan’s creative and cultural development. It is the main international point of reference, gathering many galleries that are worthy to take a look.
Curated by Studiolabo, the project supports companies of the area by giving voice to the people of the district and creating dedicated services. Don’t miss the Brera Design Week 2022, starting on June 6th, under the theme “Between Space and Time”.
Pallazo delle Meraviglie
Palazzo Delle Meraviglie is a unique event at Bagatti Valsecchi Museum created by designer Katrin Herden. It will enhance design around the world through avant-garde companies and designers like Sohil, Eduard Locota, J.M. Szymanski, Perennials and Sutherland, Barn in the City and Hommés Studio.
It will be the first show appearance of Hommés Studio that will also present ACH Collection products. It promises a journey through the “fine arts” of the 21st century that will take you beyond the boundaries of design.
Isola Design District
Isola Design District also promotes initiatives dedicated to the creatives of the area. Created by the creative agency Blank, it will showcase several design exhibitions, installations and workshops.
The beauty of the project, that takes place during Milan Design Week, is that it takes place at hidden locations, galleries and private courtyards around the district with the goal of promoting both emerging international designers and local artisans.

Enjoy your stay at the Italian city and explore the wonders of the global capital of design and fashion. Don’t leave without walk through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II – maybe do some shopping – and visit the Duomo di Milano.
