From 6 to June 12, the Italian city becomes the world capital of design. We already know that Milan Design Week 22 will be an event full of attractions, so we selected ten installations that you can’t miss during your visit to the city.
1. HYPERNOVA at SUPERSTUDIO PIÙ
Sara Ricciardi for gloTM will present the installation HYPERNOVA, the main attraction of the lounge area of Superstudio and will provide an immersive experience with nature and technology. With this installation, the designer wants to show that these two areas can coexist. This event belongs to Tortona Design Week 2022.

2. MOMENTUM at ACQUARIO CIVICO
This installation by Stark explores the relation between time, space, and environment through a visual experience. Momentum will present the scientific and the human visions of time. The exhibition also aims to reflect on how daily life is changing the environment, inviting visitors to rethink their actions and how they impact nature.

3. WE.TRULY DESIGN CREW at OPIFICIO 31
We.Truly Design Crew is an immersive exhibition that will open the dialogue between art, design, and sustainability. The show by the renowned collective group, in collaboration with IQOS, is inspired by the different stories and views of the over 2 million people that quit smoke in Italy. The event integrates the program of Tortona Rocks.

4. VITA LENTA at PIAZZA CITTÀ DI LOMBARDIA
This exhibit is ideal if are looking for a place to calm down from the electric days of Milan Design Week 22, offering a relaxing and one-of-a-kind experience. Vita Lenta (Slow Life) will take place in Piazza Città de Lombardia, where the collective Finemateria will create a scenography tribute to the slowness. It will be a sensory installation inspired by the Japanese home; an inclusive set-up that will provide an emotional experience through the material and works. The project, commissioned by Isola Design Group with the collaboration of Regione Lombardia, joins 16 international designers.

5. THE ART OF DREAMS at PALAZZO CLERICI
Porsche will make its debut at Milan Design Week 22 with a series of immersive interventions. Partnering with the floral artist Ruby Barber of Studio Mary Lennox., the brand will present The Art of Dreams, a series of sculptural craftworks combined with technology. The exhibition also counts with choreographed performances, turning this event into an absolute dream.

6. PET THERAPY at ATELIER BIAGETTI
The name says it all. It is a project dedicated to pets, promising to revive the interior child of everyone. Pet Therapy installation will occur at Atelier Biagetti in Piazza Arcole, with the signature of Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari. The place will show the pure feelings of home and feature new pieces produced with Labsenventy.

7. GONZALES HASSE AAS at MODES
During Milan Design Week 22, the traditional front of Modes Milan, an expressive and contemporary boutique situated at Piazza Risorgimento, will be the place of the installment from the German architecture firm Gonzales Haase AAS. The work aims to reflect space and time, being a transition between the energy of the city and the tranquility of the boutique.

8. FLOATING FOREST at DARSENA
In the heart of Milan, Levis installed an incredible intervention that aims to be a legacy for the city. Floating Forest designed by Stefano Boeri Interiors is a multi-sensory forest, created as an ecosystem with 610 plants and 30 different species. After the event, the trees and bushes will be donated for the regeneration project at Vettabbia Park.

9. TOILET PAPER STREET at VIA GIUSEPPE BALZARETTI
Another famous brand will be presenting a ‘do not miss’ installation. Redbull and ORGANICS will convert the entire Via Giuseppe Balzaretti in the Città Studio area into a realistic dream. This will be transformed into a permanent installation with an aesthetic project by the artist Maurizio Cattelan and the photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari. The due already worked on the iconic TOILETPAPER magazine based on this street. With this work, the well-known magazine will come to real-life and impact everyone with the project pop identity. Besides this transformation, a street party will also happen in the location on specific dates.

10. GERMOGLI at PALAZZO DURINI CAPRONI
Germogli is a remarkable installation that will make the courtyard spaces of Palazzo Durini Caproni shine and the visitors rethink the circle of life. This installation by the Natuzzi group with the signature of the artist and designer Marcantonio– envokes the concept of Second Life and aims to energize the connection between people, nature, and the environment.
