INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS FOR THIS SPRING

1. Art deco and Memphis are not over

Memphis is one of the most beloved designs and made its appearance around Paris showrooms and at the MusĂ©e des Arts DĂ©coratifs. The movement’s colors are still an inspiration for famous designers who don’t believe the 80’s design is over.

2. And it was all yellow

The use of color is one of our favorite interior design trends every year. Yellow was perhaps the dominant color around Paris. The Art Nouveau Galerie Lafayette got covered in neon-yellows to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the pop culture smiley face.

Channeling the natural and minimal trends such as wabi-sabi and japandi, designers are recovering this natural material and combining it with other fabrics. For instance, Popus Editions presented a cocktail table that mixed rattan with bright orange leather panels, making it an eye-catching piece.
